1 Hotel

1 Hotel needed to increase brand visibility and drive business to its new 5-star hotel on the Embarcadero. But while the hotel itself shone bright, San Francisco was in the midst of a post-pandemic slump. 

We introduced this newcomer to hyper-local San Francisco with storytelling and press that made the brand feel right at home. Along the way, the city itself got back its luster.

Collaborating closely with multiple agencies across the hotel brand plus regional travel boards, we strengthened 1 Hotel’s national and global reach while solidifying its place in the local SF scene. We formed key partnerships with beloved regional brands across industries—wine, fashion, parenting, design—that immersed 1 Hotel in the local community, making it a coveted destination for travelers with SF in their sights. Our media strategy garnered prestigious national and local press, including a New York Times placement positioning the hotel as SF’s next “it” destination and the city itself as a star on the rise.
