We’re currently looking for an Account Executive to join our SF Bay Area-based team, whose responsbilities include:

  • Be able to execute client tactical programming, including media pitching, event planning + logistics, influencer relations, partnership management and general account support

  • Work closely with team lead to ensure that all tactical programming aligns with strategic plans and that calendar/timing for tactics are property managed for clients

  • For SAEs: Lead select clients’ accounts, including tactical programming, client management and results tracking and reporting

  • Develop and maintain media and industry relationships; pitch clients and bring new media ideas + opportunities to the agency

  • Draft creative, strategic content for marketing materials and media pitches, releases

  • Assist in management of logistics for strategic partnerships; identify potential new partnerships for outreach

  • Participate with senior team leaders in client meetings

  • Lead remote client correspondence as needed in senior team absence

  • Have a solid understanding of client, client-related deliverables and future plans for clients in portfolio

  • Draft content calendars and manage a clear and creative content/visual voice for all communications

  • Compile news roundups and results reporting for clients, partner with junior staff to ensure that all client results are properly captured

  • Track sample and media requests, follow up with client and media to secure placements

  • Research and build media lists, keep up to date with new media and media moves

  • Stay up to date on trends, events and media topics related to industries in which we work

  • Support and project manage events

  • Participate in new business brainstorming and presentation preparation

  • Research new opportunities and potential clients

  • Partner with other AEs to manage social media engagement for agency, create and schedule content; stay up to date on digital influencers

  • Manage interns as appropriate

  • Partner with Interns to manage general business + office administrative tasks as needed




Requirements:

  • 1-3 years post-college experience in PR and marketing; knowledge and experience in the food + wine, hospitality and lifestyle industries a plus

  • College degree in a relevant field

  • Results-oriented and ‘get the job done’ attitude

  • Open-minded, outgoing and adaptable personality with a solid results-oriented work ethic

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and a desire to collaborate

  • Knowledge of design, social media and digital media measurement tools, including Cision or Muckrack, Canva, later/social media posting applications, and Microsoft Office/PDF

  • Ability to work independently, partially remotely, and in a dynamic collaborative team

  • Desire to work in a start-up environment, pursue personal interests and learnings that are in line with company goals and make your mark on a growing agency (and of course, have fun in the process!)


Location:

  • Located in the SF Bay Area with the ability to commute to wine country on average 1 day a week (or as needed for client events)
